CASA CUBO

This jungle home reimagines the act of inhabiting space — not as a static experience, but as a journey. Conceived as a series of distinct volumes connected by open-air corridors, the architecture invites movement, pause, and discovery. Each programmatic element — living, resting, bathing — exists as its own pavilion, immersed in vegetation and oriented to catch light, breeze, and silence.

The form follows fluidity: soft curves replace corners, and pathways unfold gently between trees, blurring the line between structure and nature. At the heart of the home lies a natural stone pool, carved into the site like a cenote, offering sensory connection and quiet luxury.

Sustainability is not a layer, but a core principle: cross-ventilation cools the interiors effortlessly, materials are locally sourced and minimally treated, and the footprint was carefully calibrated to preserve the existing ecosystem. More than a home, it is a sequence of immersive thresholds — open to the forest, shaped by the climate, and grounded in the rhythm of the land.
